Skate Camp FAQ

Can I cancel my ticket?

Cancellations will be allowed up to 6 weeks prior to the date of the event.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else if I can't attend?

  • If you want to transfer your ticket to another individual, you can do so but you must send their information to camp@moxirollerskates.com (including shirt size and meal preference) prior to the cancellation date specified above
  • Moxi will not transfer the payment for the ticket to a new payment method. In the event the camper you are transferring your ticket to decides to cancel their ticket, the original payment method will be refunded.

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes access to our coaches and classes offered, Woodward’s facilities, a bunk within one of the cabins, meals, and other fun activities we have planned.

What Covid guidelines will you be following?

We will be following all CDC guidelines that are in effect at the time each Camp takes place. Any additional requirements around Covid protocols will be communicated to you in advance of the event.

If you have specific concerns about Covid, please don't hesitate to contact us at camp@moxirollerskates.com

Is this a primitive camping situation?

No! Woodward offers running water, freshly cooked meals, bathrooms/showers, and enclosed cabins for the campers.

What do I need to bring?

We will provide you with more information once your ticket has been purchased but we recommend packing like you would if you were going out of town while keeping in mind the weather for that weekend. You will also want to bring bedding for sleeping such as sheets, blankets, and a pillow. Additionally, you will be responsible for bringing your own gear. Rental equipment will not be supplied. Bring ALL of the skate gear you think you may need.

Please see links below to download the camp packet which fully outlines all of the items you will need to bring.

What should I leave at home?

Drugs, alcohol, weapons, animals, fireworks, and negative attitudes or behaviors. Violating any of Woodward’s rules will result in removal from camp and a permanent ban on all future Woodward or Moxi events.

Is this for all ages and skill levels?

Unfortunately, these events are only for people ages 18 and over. However, all skill levels are welcome. We will be teaching some flat-ground basics, but most classes will be focused on ramp/park skating.

Can I come as a skateboarder or inliner?

This is a quad skating-specific event. You must come with your own pair of quad skates to participate.

How do I get there?

Both Woodward locations are a decent drive from any nearby airport. You will be responsible for your own transportation. We recommend planning flights, carpooling, or rental cars in advance. In the past, some campers have also coordinated travel to the event using our Facebook group:
