Mounting Service FAQ

What kinds of boots will you mount?
Currently we are focusing on roller skate boots, but if you have something else you'd like us to mount please reach out to our customer service team and we'll see if it's something we can take on!

What is the warranty for my skates if you mount them for me?
We are not able to provide warranty coverage for the actual parts that you provide as they were not purchased from us. If you are purchasing a plate from us as part of your mounting job, the warranty will depend on what setup you are having us assemble. The Sunlite plates, for example, cannot be warrantied if they are being set up with anything other than factory trucks.

Do you accept other brands for mounting?
Yes we accept most other skate brands for mounting but if you aren't sure whether your skate can be mounted, please contact our customer service team!

Do you accept used/slightly used boots for a skate build?
We do accept most used boots. You will be asked for photos before sending your skates. If your skate was previously mounted with another plate, we charge an additional $25 dismount fee due to having to fill in previous mounting holes and make your skate suitable for mounting a new plate.

Are all my parts compatible?
If you aren't sure whether the parts you have are compatible, please contact our customer service team before purchasing the mounting service.

If during the mounting process we find that some of your parts might not be compatible with your new setup, you will be contacted to determine how you want to proceed.

If I purchase something from can it be added to my mounting order?
Of course! Please note that if you purchase any items alongside the mounting service fee, they will ship to you according to our normal time frames for shipping.

If you are purchasing anything that will be used as part of your mounting job, please note that on the form sent to you after purchase.

What if I don’t have all the components?
All mounting components such as bolts, nuts, and washers will be supplied by Moxi roller skates if you do not have them. Anything else can be purchased through but if for some reason you can’t find what you are looking for please reach out to our customer service team to see if we can accommodate.

What is the turnaround time?
Once the skates are received at our warehouse, please allow a maximum 3-week turnaround. If other components get added due to compatibility issues, turnaround time may be increased especially if parts have to be ordered.
