Changes and Cancellations for an Existing Order

Changes or cancellations can only be honored if your order has not yet shipped. Once an order has been fulfilled, changes and cancellations can no longer be made.

Any statements on the product page itself will be the most accurate in terms of changes as some products may not be changeable once the order is placed (for example, drop-ship orders).

If your order has not been fulfilled, it may be possible to change or cancel the order. Please contact our customer support immediately if you have any questions.

Please note: Drop-ship orders usually cannot be changed or cancelled. You will be informed at the time of checkout if any items are being drop-shipped.

Chargebacks

Chargebacks are a lengthy process initiated by the customer through their banking institution. Because it opens a dispute between the bank and Shopify, it takes a minimum of 75 days for the individuals to be refunded. Most chargebacks are not settled in the customer's favor. If you are looking for a refund or cancellation, please contact our customer support as your first resort and we will gladly complete your request.

Contact Info for Orders

Once your order has been accepted on moxiskates.com, you will receive an email to the signup email you used at checkout. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number for your package. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your order.

Do not contact any other Moxi Skate shops or dealers. They operate as a separate businesses.

Credit Cards

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order.

Custom, Special Sizing and Mismatch Orders

Our boots are Made In USA by hand. Each pair will have touched 85 stations on our assembly line before they find their way into their box and shipped.

Since we do not stock inventory in custom orders, special half sizes, widths, mismatch colors, these items will carry a longer ETA. Production times will vary and we cannot offer status updates on custom orders since we do not know where the skates are in the process until they are completed.

Defects

We will gladly accept the return of products that are defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 30 days from the date you receive the item. 

As a first resort, please contact our customer service so we can assist you to determine if your item is defective. Photos or videos of the issue will help if possible.

Exchanges

 

We currently handle exchanges by allowing you to return your item (as long as it falls within our return policy, see below) and then you may place a new order via our online store for the item(s) you want instead.

    Missing or Incorrect Items

    If any of the items you ordered are either missing, or incorrect (i.e. wrong size, color, etc), please notify our customer service team as soon as possible. Moxi must be contacted within 7 days of your package being received.

    Multiple Product Orders

    For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.

    Non-Returnable Items

    Due to their specialized manufacturing, some items are non-returnable. This includes but is not limited to:

    • Vegan Jacks
    • Every color of Jack except Jade and Black
    • Half sizes (Lolly boot) and custom sizes (both Jack and Lolly)
    • Jade Lolly
    • Banana cream lining
    • Cork heel
    • Custom widths (D, E) - both Lolly and Jack
    • Blemished or marked-down products

    Order Acceptance Policy

    Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Moxiskates.com reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.

    Other Conditions

    These Conditions will supersede any terms and/or conditions you include with any purchase order, regardless of whether MoxiSkates.com, signs them or not. We reserve the right to make changes to this site and these Conditions at any time.

    Out-of-Stock Products

    We will ship your product as it becomes available. There may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock or in production which will delay fulfilling your order. Please refer to each item individually on our website for estimated ship times, due to a high volume of orders.

    Price Matching

    If an item you've purchased goes on a discount or has a price reduction within 7 days of your purchase date, we will honor the discounted price. Please reach out to our customer service team for a refund for your order.

    Privacy

    We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from our site, you provide your name, email address, credit card information, address, phone number, and a password. We use this information to process your orders, to keep you updated on your orders and to personalize your shopping experience. Our secure servers protect your information using advanced encryption techniques and firewall technology.

    When entering any of our contests or prize drawings, you provide your name, email address and mailing address. If you win, we will send the prize to the address entered and notify you by email. When you enter a contest or drawing you are also included in our newsletter list to receive notice of promotions, specials and new additions to the Sample Store site. You may unsubscribe from this news list by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email received.

    Privacy on Other Web Sites

    Other sites accessible through our site have their own privacy policies and data collection practices. Please consult each site's privacy policy. Our Store is not responsible for the actions of third parties. 

    Refunds

    We offer refunds in the instance of returned and cancelled orders. Funds can only be processed back on the same payment method used at checkout. If your original method of payment is no longer active, banks will typically transfer the funds to your current account if it is within the same institution, or they will issue the funds via check.

    Returns

    1. To start a return, please contact our customer service team.
    2. In general, after reaching out to us and our team verifying your order qualifies for return, we will provide a free return label that you can print to ship back the product.

    Your original shipping fee will not be refunded when returning an item.

    Unless otherwise stated on a specific product page, we will gladly accept the return of products that are defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 30 days from the date you receive the item. Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect products to you will also be accepted for return 30 days from the date you receive the item.

    If you would like to return due to sizing, or you simply changed your mind, we are happy to accept these returns no longer than 30 days from the date you receive the item (again, exceptions to this policy may exist and will be clearly noted on the product page prior to checkout).

    If you have already returned an item from an order, any future returns for that same order will be subject to return shipping charges.

    Returns must still be brand new, in mint condition, not worn outside, and within 30 days of receiving. They must be shipped back in a protected box/shipping bag so the Moxi item is not exposed. If damage in transit is deemed to be due to improper packaging, a full refund may not be granted. We will accept your return once the item arrives back at our warehouse and we have examined the returned items. All returns are subject to inspection and will not be accepted if worn or damaged.

    Size 1 Beach Bunny, Panther, or Jungle will be subject to a $25 restocking fee.

    Returns (International)

    We will charge a 25% surcharge on return shipping for international orders. Your original shipping charge will not be refunded when returning your products. Please contact us regarding your return for details pertaining to your particular situation.

    Route Order Protection

    Route package protection is included on every order placed after November 13. Please see the following for a complete list of Route's coverage limitations:

    Shipping Policy

    Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by Moxiskates.com or other parties only as an estimate, and please note that any shipping time quoted on checkout does not factor in the lead time for manufacturing or potential backorder status. You will receive tracking information when your items are prepared for shipment. Once your items are in the hands of the shipper, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you suspect your package has been lost or stolen, a claim may be filed through Route shipping insurance, which is included on every order.

    Taxes

    Moxiskates.com shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the same state. For orders shipped to other states, sales tax rates will be calculated in accordance with the state's laws governing online orders.

    Typographical Errors

    In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. MoxiSkates.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, MoxiSkates.com shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

    Warranty

    All products manufactured by Riedell Shoes, Inc., including but not limited to Moxi®, Radar Wheels®, and KwiK Bearings® are warranted by Riedell Shoes, Inc. to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal and intended use for a period of 6 months from the date of retail purchase by the original end-use purchaser. PowerDyne® plates shall be warranted by Riedell Shoes, Inc. to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal and intended use for a period of 12 months from the date of retail purchase by the original end-use purchaser.

    This warranty does not cover product failure resulting from improper fit, accident, abuse, neglect or normal wear and tear, as determined by Riedell Shoes, Inc. Riedell Shoes, Inc. will not be responsible for the repair, replacement or consequential damage due to the above mentioned causes.

    This warranty does not cover post sale service costs, including but not limited to plate mounting and bearing installation.
